From everyday to forever, we’re engaged! George proposed at on our dock in October 2025, the dogs nearby doing what they do best, keeping life loud and real. A simple moment we’ll never forget.

Our story didn’t start in a showroom or on a jobsite, it started on a mail route in Madison. I was a mail carrier, and George was working as a general contractor renovating a home. I delivered his mail, usually greeted first by his dog, Bodi our unofficial wingman! Somewhere between those front yard chats, things turned into something more.

Since then, we’ve built a life together alongside our growing business. What started with George has grown into a true partnership, I fully joined GMR Build to see us through to year five after buying a home in the spring of 2024. We were finding our footing along the river and are proud to be a two-person team built on trust, communication, and a shared appreciation for beautiful homes.

George brings over a decade of experience as a contractor and carpenter, and I keep everything running behind the scenes. Together, we focus on creating spaces that feel like home, built to last and made for real life.

When we’re not working on a client’s home, we’re usually working on our own. Once a year you can find us on a river far from home, where we can slow down and reset.

We’ll be sharing more of our own remodel as it unfolds—because living through a renovation is no small thing, and we think it’s worth showing the real side of it!!
